what kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

My media product doesn’t necessarily represent a specific social group; however it’s represented for a much younger audience from a middle/working class background. There isn’t a particular ethnicity group, as my magazine is targeted more at young people who are genuinely interested in Hip-Hop and RnB Music. My audience will be similar to magazines like XXL, Vibe and The Source. My magazine has a young a feel to it, especially with the yellow, black and white colour schemes. The main cover lines ‘Yung Bakz’ and ‘Young stars step up!’ really epitomize the young audience’s interests; something that would really urge them to look inside the magazine and read on. Another factor is the dress sense of the model. The clothes represent the Hip-Hop genre quiet clearly and have importance in representing social groups. My model wears the appropriate clothes that conform to the specific audience/social groups. My model is wearing a ‘MCM backpack’ which is a luxury designer name seen worn many rappers, Hip-Hop and RnB artists. He is also wearing a ‘Supreme snapback’ which is a hat that’s a massive fashion trend in this particular social group and the brand is also a well-known ‘Hip-Hop’ brand. The model is also wearing a ‘Levi’s denim trucker jacket’ that which is a vintage look that is a high trend and finally the ‘Jordan Brand’ trainers he is wearing is also something that the audience understand and can recognize immediately.
